Our schools are staffed with Montessori-certified teachers and accredited Early Childhood Educators - staff is all classified under Manitoba Family Services and Labor, as Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants.
Asha Doreen Edirisinghe ECEIII, AMI

Asha received her AMI Montessori Diploma in 2006 after studying for two years at the prestigious Association Montessori International (AMI), Good Shepherd Maria Montessori Training Center, Sri Lanka.
She has also completed her Early Childhood Educator (E.C.E.II) program and the Early Childhood Program Management Course (Early Childhood Educator III) in Manitoba and has met the qualification under The Community Child Care Standards Act as an Early Childhood Educator III.
Asha worked in two leading Montessori schools in Winnipeg as a Montessori teacher and supervisor for over six years before she started the Richmond Montessori School (RMS) in 2012. She had previously taught as a kindergarten teacher for two years and a primary school (English, Mathematics, Science, and Geography) for four years, which further expanded her experience in early childhood education.
Asha is dedicated to creating a loving environment and a versatile teaching program based on the Montessori teaching theories/methods as well as additional Kinder Music, French lessons, physical activities to meet every child’s individual needs. Asha has two sons, and both grew up in a Montessori educational environment.
